What's Next?

You looked at different decks, decided on Tarot, decided what theme, Found a deck you wished to purchase! What's next?

Purchase a journel, a notebook, an exercise book and a pen.....with your new deck in bag ready to be unwraped.....

There are many myths, thoughts and opinions on how to begin preparing your deck, cleansing (clearing away other's energy from the deck, even if brand new, there are those that printed, handled, packaged this deck.... then there is the distributor, courier, inwards goods, sales people, other customers that may have handled the deck at some stage.......If you believe you need to cleanse this deck, then by all means do so........ visulaization, meditation, with sea salt (in seperate bag to protect cards), crystals, waft over incense, smudge stick (white sage), within moon light..... etc......
Once deck is cleansed then time to consecrate it (this is a personal journey...)
Sit with it viuslaize, meditation, sea salt, pentacle.......any otehr method you wish to use if suitable.....
OK.... Now it is time to date today's date on the top of the journal page.......
and pull your first card-
Look at it for 30 seconds...
Write down everything you see within the card...
Look at it again for 30 seconds.....
Close eyes... and visualize, meditate on card..... feel like you are stepping into card and talking with characters, objects within card..... what are they saying? how do you feel? etc....
Write down everything within that session......
Relook at card.......Now look at book on that card... what does the author say that makes sense to you? How does that apply to your situation today?
What do you want to deny about situation? What are you ready to do within situation?
Has the card helped? Write all of this down within the page........

During the day if anything comes to you about this card... write it down.....

Do this for a month at least..... if need be it may take 78 days.........
